Hump Of Trouble - Triple WCIPA

Hump Of Trouble - Triple WCIPA

Early supporters of MC would remember Kitten Mittens, a 3.5% Pale Ale named after a rock climbing route that long-time friend of the brewery and rock climber Tom O'Halloran bolted near our brewery. For many years, it was the hardest sports route in the country but he’s gone one better and finished a new route, rated higher than Kitten Mittens, making it the new highest rated climb in the country.

Its name? Hump Of Trouble.

We couldn’t think of many things scarier than this climb, which sees the climber complete the whole route upside down, so that's why it's our Halloween beer.

We’ve used the same malt ratios and hops as Kitten Mittens but dialled it up a little, just like Tom did, to present you an all Aussie hopped Triple IPA with a massive hit of Galaxy and Vic Secret hops.

Hope you can hold your nerves long enough to finish it through the assertive bitterness, spice and in-your-face notes of orange rind, passionfruit and pineapple. It might be best if you find a friend to belay you through it.
