Why the name Beautiful Garbage? Because while we were in Tasmania, we managed to wrangle some old barrels that would have otherwise been thrown away and now we've made something beautiful from them - introducing a malt-driven, oak barrel-aged barleywine, our first barrel-aged beer, ever.
With mellow, transcendent complexity and luscious mouthfeel, the malt gives this beer caramel and honey characteristics, which is balance by a touch of spice.
